PICT images can be stored in many types of Macintosh documents,
such as word-processing files. However, you can open only PICT files in Picture Compressor.
To use a picture from a non-PICT document, copy the picture into a new Picture Compressor file.
Pictures in some programs can’t be copied in PICT format. To use such a picture, see the topic “Converting an Image to PICT Format.”
